Out with the Old-In with the New

Updated: Feb 7, 2022

As someone who loves science, I have always been fascinated by the study of living systems like the human body, plants and how we as created beings are a part of a vast, immeasurable universe. Subjects like organic chemistry, biochemistry and biophysics really excite me! And yes, I am a certified geek (and proud of it).

Just think-within our bodies, cells are renewing and dying off all of the time. It is the natural way that there is always something new that replaces the old. Red blood cells on average live for 100-120 days. They are then replaced with new ones. Scientists now know that brain cells can be replaced or renewed because of neuroplasticity. Before you fall completely asleep that simply means we humans can retrain ourselves to be different by thinking different-new thoughts. Doing so actually changes the brain. Isn’t that cool?

Well, if God created our bodies to grow and change and adapt why not cooperate with our Creator? Let Him transform you by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2) and make a new decision about how your life will look in 2018? Are you ready to make changes in areas of your life that can improve your relationships? finances? education? health? Are you ready to let out the Old (you) and let in the New (you)? It is an intriguing question that invites your consideration. Contact me at www.valeriedwise.com for more information on how you can change your mind and change your life!

Stay tuned.
